Gateway RC Club Flying Field
Located in Lannie Road Park, the field features a 450' asphalt runway with grass runoff on each end, as well as a full grass runway alongside. The 90' pavilion features numerous worktables, outlets, ceiling fans and a central charging station. The central asphalt pit area leads to concrete starting areas on each of the taxiways. Gas, glow and turbine starting stations are provided. There are four concrete pilot stations at each end of the runway, including two that are striped for Pattern competition.
The clubhouse includes male and female restrooms, water fountain, members' snack area with refrigerator, microwave and coffee, training room with four flight simulators, full kitchen, Wi-Fi and a garage for grounds equipment and a small hobby/repair workshop.
Club members each have gate keys and are responsible for monitoring safety and security. You will find club flyers there almost any day there is not too much wind or rain, usually morning to early afternoon. The public, and guest pilots with AMA membership, are welcome whenever the gate is open!
